Playing Field

At Greenwich Polo Club, polo is played on grass. The field is 300 yards long and 160 yards wide, the largest field in organized sports.

The goal posts at each end are 24 feet apart and a minimum of 10 feet high.

Penalty lines are white lines that are marked at 30 yards from the goal, 40 yards, 60 yards and at mid-field.

Lessons

Greenwich Polo Club offers individual and group polo lessons. Lessons include the use of a polo pony, all tack, polo mallets and balls. Contact Us for information.
